MIRROR : MIROIR
articule Members’ Show 2018
Mirror mirror, tell me...
Who is articule? Over the past few years, the members of articule have been reflecting on the practice of art-making as well as on the practice of self-reflection in the context of marginalisation. Discussions on the concept of community, safe spaces, and on self-awareness are necessary for such types of reflection.
In the spirit of initiating an exercise of collective discussion, the theme of articule's 2018 Members' Exhibition will focus on self-reflection as well as a reflection of the others: the members of articule, the community of artists with various practices, and the free agents of the universe… Who are they? What are we? To reach this reflection, the centre’s yearly exhibition is offering its members the opportunity to present an introspective work.
April 6th will be the opening of this annual exhibition but also the occasion to celebrate YOU. Indeed, this event will be a member appreciation evening that you will not want to miss! Come and meet, exchange, reflect and spend fun times with us: we promise good food, drinks and a festive atmosphere!
