Tentatively titled re: leaning theory, not in the middle, Ronald Rose-Antoinette’s project will study the concerto of exile, inseparability, longing and queerness via the instrument of the Caribbean and its corrosive relationship to transcendance and the principle of framework tied to (western/european) arts. re: leaning theory will invite artists from Turtle Island, Tiohtià:ke/Montréal, and the Caribbean to respond to/experiment with the notions of "tendency" and "caribbeanness" through a series of workshops, performances, talks and screenings.
