'smokn n public a comms breakdwn so 2 spk' sings the lyrics to the Led Zeppelin song 'Communication Breakdown' by way of Morse code smoke signals. This work continues Beal's interest in public discourse, self expression and mutual understanding. Or in this case misunderstanding.

Kyle Beal is a Montreal based artist represented by Galerie PUSH, his work has been featured in exhibitions throughout Canada, including the Glenbow Museum in Alberta and the Contemporary Art Gallery of Vancouver. He holds a Master's degree in visual art from the University of Victoria.
