The Nightshade Club daily specials include the scrumptious Dutch pancakes with honey-roasted almond flakes and tamarillo compote, and our not-to-be-missed ground cherry and cola-reduction crepe. We also have the best smoothies ever; we can whip up every flavour imaginable! Our favourite fresh ingredients grow in the shade, and flower at night, like the blood red orange, pear and sweet pepino smoothie spiced with cinnamon, a crowd favourite! If you need a healthy option, there’s the sprouted chia yogurt bowl with blueberries and doused with a tangy tomatillo sauce. Inquire at the bar for a clear orange bubbly mimosa spiked with mandrake root, or hot coffee brewed with fresh psychedelic belladonna. The Nightshade Club is a new installation by Jordan Loeppky-Kolesnik presented by articule for the Summer Window Project. It will be featured in the front area of the gallery, visible at all times of day and night from July 5 – August 2. Join us for the finissage of The Nightshade Club on August 1^st, 5-7 PM. This will be the only day that the restaurant will be open... The public will be able then to try out some of the items on the menu!

Jordan Loeppky-Kolesnik is a Montreal-based artist who focuses on installation, video, and photography, using a cinematic approach. He holds a BFA in Studio Arts in Intermedia at Concordia University, Montreal, and has been recently accepted to the MFA in Sculpture Program at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Recent exhibitions have been presented at Eastern Bloc in Montréal, 8eleven and Trinity Square Video in Toronto, and the International Studio Curatorial Program in Brooklyn, New York.
